The Bonnet is Finished!

This was most definatly a labour of love and after 3 months of tattingI finally got the bonnet washed.  I then used a balloon to shape it while it dried.

I'm very pleased with it, I just hope Eilidh will grow into in it time for her Christening in a months time.

Here are some pictures of the final piece.  I had to use my Mum's old doll to model it until Eilidh is big enough for it. I also added a picture of it in the ballon so you can see the detail from the back.  :-)




I'm really pleased with it but so glad its finished!
